Italy Engagement

Oh hey there!! Remember early summer when my family and I jetsetted over to Italy for a 2 week family vacation.  Our first stop was Rome and we were there 5 days, on our first evening my beautiful friend who now lives in London, England met us for an evening on the town with the kids.  It was so much fun, the kids were able to play in the palazzo with other children in the dark, we were able to enjoy a long night at a quaint little patio, it was all heaven.  Over the next couple days we discovered Rome, the Basilica's the Fountains, the Ruins, so much beauty and history in one place.  Our last evening together we explored all day and then after dinner (which was usually pizza lol)  we met up for our Engagement Session.  We played with the last bit of sunshine on the terrace of our apartment and then took off into the streets around where we were staying.  Italy does not disappoint, every turn, every nook and cranny there is so much Everything.  Everything that is amazing and beautiful and special and which carries so much history and the people and the food. Ok Yep I gotta stop.  Needless to say, Italy is amazing, this couple is amazing, being able to be creative in such a space at such an epic time of the day, all magic.  So happy I could capture these for the soon to be married couple,  over the moon excited I was chosen to photograph the Wedding in November in Ontario.  It's going to be amazing, can't wait for this couple to be Husband and Wife!! And to travel again together in the future of course!!  If you make it to the end, I have added some sweet photos of our travels together!! Love you Lorin and Vladi!

So happy to introduce the adorable Newlyweds Melissa and Brandon.  It was our pleasure to photograph their beautiful Wedding Day.  The entire day was magic, their venue was gorgeous, a real fairytale location The fabulous Penryn Park in Port Hope. Melissa was beaming the entire day. It brought me so much joy editing her images, bringing me back to seeing how happy she was, and how much Brandon adores her. It is always so amazing listening to the family tell their stories and blessing the happy couple, they are surrounded by love.  Together they have created a wonderful family for themselves, I couldn't be any happier for them! Wishing you a million happy years together! Thank you for choosing us to tell your story!

Natural light sessions in my home studio are So much fun!

I can't tell you enough how much I enjoy shooting indoor natural light sessions. The way the light wraps around those adorable little faces is so sweet! Makes me so happy.  I had a great time photographing these two little munchkins.  I believe they enjoyed themselves as well.  We played, tried some poses, but mostly I had fun photographing them as they were.  I love the personality you can see through these images.  A perfect little time capsule session, kids being kids, timeless, classic.

Hey there!!! Soo I am about to do something I have never done before in my Blogs! I have only edited maybe 5 of these photographs!! I am busy and my Clients havn't ordered their faves yet  (I edit every purchased image).  BUT this session is so cute, and I love what we captured in 30 minutes, I really wanted to share them with you.  These children are beautiful, and have a love for life, I totally enjoyed their company. So you now have a chance to see what SOC (Straight Out of Camera) looks like!! I meter my exposures on skin tones, so sometimes the sky gets blasted out... and sometimes I add a sky to compensate for that! lol Sometimes I don't.  It all depends on the light that day.... and the time of day! There is a lot involved in getting that perfect exposure.  I hope you love these and can see the fun we had through the images!!
